We paid a brief visit, it is accessible by car, the experience was amazing because it was 34 degrees Celsius outside and when we stepped down into the cave (we just made 2 steps) we exhaled vapour and it felt chilly and pleasant. The cell...More

Nice view of Pythagorion with the castle and the see in front. You have to pay a visit to the Monastery because it is an interesting place and not to far from the Tunnel of Eupalinos.

The best way to see the place is to rent a car for a daily tour. The monastery is easily accessible for Pythagoreion Port.

Picturesque cave with a small early christian little church inside. Cave was used as shelter during 2nd WW for town folk.
