Panagia Spiliani is one the old beautiful monasteries of Samos. Located on the mountain-side behind Pythagorion. Walk from Pythagorion, and you will get great view over the town and the sea.

A nice walk up the hillside to the monastery. It was quiet and nice, extra quiet maybe because it was end of season. The view out over the sea and over Pythagorion was really beautiful.

Nice view of Pythagorion with the castle and the see in front. You have to pay a visit to the Monastery because it is an interesting place and not to far from the Tunnel of Eupalinos.

The best way to see the place is to rent a car for a daily tour. The monastery is easily accessible for Pythagoreion Port.
