I did my early morning walk along the river and you couldn’t find a better place to walk. The path is hard surface and close beside the river with a great view of the castle.

Nearest place seems to be at Loughcrew caravan and Camping Park. Near Drumsawry, Oldcastle, County Meath. Check their website or phone 353 86 736 1948.
