This church creates a powerful atmosphere. It doesn't display riches but from the travertine altar to the fragments of frescoes showing the monastic life of St Francis it is simply beautiful.

It is a not-so-rich church, really medieval feeling. All of that is in accordance with the place and the rest of town in a good melting of historic heritages.

Nice and atmospheric church! Go to the far right angle of the church and you would find smal chapel with really nice looking ceiling. Most of the tourists just run in and out but you'd better stay a little bit longer to feel the spirit...More
