The trip consists of a visit to 4 large rooms with passageways in the basement of a large ruined church. One is an old worship chapel with altar area, another is set up as a torture chamber, another contains some interesting surveying tools useful for...More

Don't believe the guide books, they make it look like this is a 5 km walk under the heart of Narni town. It's not. It's just 4 more or less underground rooms that the Italian speaking guide takes way too long to explain. Sure you...More

The tour was in Italian but there are English audio guides. The tour guide gave a lot of info not on the audio tour, so those using the audio tour in our group were a bit lost. Some interesting things to see, though.

The visit of the underground structures rediscovered in the 1970s is well worth it. The frescoes in the medieval chapel as well as the drawings in the cell where a famous army Free Mason was held prisoner by the Inquisition are quite unique.

Great expectations to the underground. The tour was ok, but there were only Italian speaking guides, and l guess we expected more from both the sight and guides.

An extremely interesting tour with authentic items you can see closely. However, I whish the audio-guide was more detailed. The explanation of the Italian tour guide were longer and more detailed.
