Crowded, pricey and nothing special...the water is luke warm and the locker rooms were crowded and tight. Go check out the public springs and call it a day.

We have come to the hot springs in Ourense for several years and we absolutely love it. The city council must be spending a lot of money on the upkeep of the site. The landscaping is lovely and toilets and changing rooms are available. We travel the world in search of natural thermal waters and this is one of the... More

Natural thermal pool right next to a running river. U may walk into the cold water after hot spring bath. Well maintained facilities despite free public access. Like the natural environment and open space. Very enjoyable experience. One other bonus, plenty of free car parking space. Just drive and step into the hot spring bath. Easy.

I have been going to the 'Termas' for years. Whenever I am up in the Tras de Montes region of Portugal. I make the drive up to Ourense. I have been in both the free area and the pay to enter area. They are both amazing places. Only wish I had a place like this near me in the States.

Nice thermal waters with changing rooms, showers and river nearby. Everyone was very friendly and had a great time.

Free to the public, these springs are really worth a visit. Clean and not to busy with facilities on site...it was almost perfect. Nestled next to the river, you couldn't ask for better. Plenty of shade adjacent to the pools if you need to cool off. Enjoy ...

We really enjoyed this little jewel of a place. Took a bit of patience finding it - the signs from the centre if Orense were a bit misleading and it's a good few miles in between seeking the last sign and getting to the car park. It's a 5 min walk from the car park to the bridge that takes... More

First of all, this listing mixes up a lot of different things. There is the original Roman Bath in the old city. That is historically interesting and has some public pools, but certainly is not the place to go take a dip. The modern baths are along the Mino River downstream from town. The first set of baths are just... More

We visited here with 2 children aged 8 & 5, we all found it to be a very relaxing and calming experience with clean facilities. After using the springs we then ate at the restaurant onsite and found this to be very efficient with nice food and a great view of the city, the food bill was extremely reasonable too!!
