A must visit

Is a must if you in the area. A beautiful place. You have to visit it to understand. Within walking distance to town, or huge car park if required. Took our breath away.

Great little church on the lake, great photo opportunity, but you need to allow time as there are often a heap of people around. I came back a few times in an afternoon as I wandered around the shores, and got a few great photos with only one person in them (that I can crop out). Picture Postcard quality that... More

Its a small church standing out on its own , but when you enter , the window behind the alter has the most beautiful view of God's own creation

It is beautiful but it is difficult to take a perfect picture of it as it is always surrounded with people even at night!

This is a small, historic church with the lovely back drop of Lake Tekapo, unfortunately we couldn't go in, it appeared to locked. Spray your feet and legs with bug spray!

Really cute little chaple, which is unfortunately always crowded all around. We tried at three different times of the day but no chance of a calm picture. Oh well, still a beautiful church in a beautiful setting!

It is the popular church located near to the lake shore. Actually, it should be peaceful place, but because this is tourist attractions, so many people come to visit. Nearby is a nice bridge across the shallow river. Nice river colour, turquoise.

This little church is right next to Lake Tekapo and is a popular place for many visitors. The church is a beautiful building by itself and there's some lavenders grown around it. If you go there at the right time, you get to see them bloom and that would make a even better view. You should also have a walk... More

A beautiful church located on the edge of the turquoise blue Lake Tekapo. Headed back there at night to do some photography but the crowd was bigger, even well after midnight. Stargazing in this area is amazing and awe inspiring.
