One of the 3 bridges you need to access the Kakusenkei Gorge. Seems to be one of the easiest bridge to access from the local tourist bus stop.

Very pretty bridge in the middle of the Kakusenkei Gorge. Definitely recommend walking across it to get to the Yuge Road even if you intended to walk the entire length of the gorge (just double back!), personally my favourite of the 3 bridges on the...More

I stayed in the kaga onsen area and took the river walk. Beautiful area and calming. The ayatori bridge is a must see aswell as the kogori bridge.

This is part of a lovely walk near to Kaga on the West coast of Japan. It is worth the bus trip from Kaga for both the walk and local shops.

The bridge is so high above the river giving fantastic view over the river and the forest. It adds some color to the place too.

The way to this is best along the river. The bridge is nice but the sights and cafe along the way make it very worth it.

It curves back and forth, side to side as it crosses the river so you can't see either side from the middle. Interesting for bridge aficionados.

Worth a wander around the gorge if you're in Yamanaka Onsen and the footbridge is pleasantly whacky.

Ayatori Bridge crosses the river, and leads to a beautiful walking path along the river. In the fall, the autumn leaves make for a magical experience. However, in the winter, the path is typically snowed over. There is night time lightening, and picnic tables.
