Very good guide telling historical background of the cottage & Finnish national author. Tiny sauna in the courtyard.

Just a small cottage, but worth seeing, if you are interested in Aleksis Kivi. You can also find his grave in the Tuusula Church yard. Rantatie in Tuusula is also pretty road to see.

It is good to see how small houses they had 150 years ago. Aleksis KIvi was the first novelist using Finnish language.

Very tranquille and relaxing atmosphere. Amazing how they used to live whole the family in a space of couple of square meters... Truly interesting. Worth of wisiting.
