We went for a wine tasting, but were hungry. There is a restaurant here at Allendorf with plenty of seating indoors and out. The food is really great, specific to the location and substantial; unfortunately the service was rather slow, but this was soon forgotten...More

We were allowed in on off hours so we did not get the full experience that I have heard so much about but we were there to taste wine and I was not disappointed. The Pinot Noir and the Charta Riesling were standouts for me.
