Nice Vibe

For a town square it's very small. Packed with restaurants, shops and an ice-cream parlour, there's not much room for the few seats and trees. Busy, busy place. NIce vibe in the evening when the sun goes down and some of the resraurants have competing live music to entertain the customers.

Small but cozy square

We spent only one day in Monopoli, but visited lots of places. This square is in the centre, so it’s popular. Small square but it has a nice vibe with many cafes, bars, and gelateria where you can get original Italian ice-cream. It1s worth to stop for a few minutes and relax.

The perfect place to find a table, have a coffee, a meal or even better, have a gelato. It stays in the end of the way that goes thru all attractions, when you hit here you Will be thirsty or hungry. Eat or drink Will be simply a perfect end to a nice visit to a beautiful place.

Nice small square near the ancient harbour. Center of city life. sit here in the evening, but also during controra (after lunch, when the sun is scorching) to sip a coffee

Most beautiful Town Center

Wonderful town and lovely people. We spend 10 days in town for a family wedding with about 110 others, every one was so accommodating. The best times were just sitting at the Cafe in the Piazza, catching up and enjoying the company. Can't wait to go back......

Delightful piazza

Lovely square with quite a lot of different restaurants and 2 gelateria. Got very busy in the evenings especially during festival time, but quiet in the mornings. Only a minute from the picturesque old port.

If you are looking for somewhere to eat good food, drink, people watch or just sit back and relax - this is the place to be. During our stay in Monopoli the Soccer World Cup semis were on and the piazza was full.
We didn't encounter any harassing vendors.

Lively Piazza

Had a few drinks at a bar in this piazza. Good for people watching. Nice happy atmosphere on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Families and couples strolling by. Good choice of bars and eateries

Every town in Italy seems to have a street or piazza dedicated to Garibaldi. This is a small pizza near the historic center. There are several restaurants and cafes, as well as some shops.

Small but perfectly formed.

Close to the port, it's a wonderful place to catch either a bite, a meal or a drink and people watch. Choose if you sit in the sun or the shade, but it doesn't really matter as you'll be absorbed into the atmosphere of the place.
