I have been to the Cove two more times before this year, in 2021 and 2022.
To say that it has radically changed is to say the least.
I remembered it as a place much more easygoing, simple and rustic (in the beautiful sense of the word). Stone farmhouse by the sea, canopy, wooden tables and chairs, simple but delicious food (I still remember the frise with burrata and shrimp).
It no longer exists.
It's also my fault that I didn't look at the site with the updated prices, although the whatsapp message for the request of sunbeds you replied to me at 12.30 and I was already there from 10.00, but 45 euros per person seemed really exaggerated, especially for the services offered: 2 sunbeds (very normal), wifi and shower.
I tried to tell you at the end of the day, but you replied that actually the price is "a bit high" but serves to avoid mass tourism and is in line with the services offered compared to other establishments. I did not insist at that point because the wide difference of views was evident.
All beautiful, the place well-kept and remote, tourism not mass, organic farming (which however I do not exploit if I enter only for a day in front of the sea), but services for 45 euros entry per person I have seen very few. It is true that on the lawn would have been 40 euros per person with an extra umbrella, but at that point, after 1 hour by car, we opted for a location where the sea could be seen.
Even catering has changed. Prices a little 'above average, which can fit for the remote place and biological footprint, but find evidence of a radical change a plate of orecchiette 20 euros and the service that is paid at 10% of the total.
As I said to you, here we are talking about luxury beach club prices, but without the services that a beach club should have.
Unfortunately, I think that was the last time I was your client. These costs are far beyond my means, but even if I could afford such high costs, they would not be worth the services offered.

The Orte bay is a fantastic place that I have been frequenting for years. Unfortunately the new management of the lido is a big disappointment. Poor services (unguarded paid parking, in a field under the blazing sun, without safety measures, not even a fire extinguisher), absence of shuttle which forces a long walk (1.5-2 km), exorbitant prices (70 for an umbrella on the rocks, 15 for a frisella, the restaurant costs as if it had 1 Michelin star, the bar costs as if it were in the center of Milan), unfriendly staff, little or no attention towards the customer (unless he spends a fortune) and the environment (no separate waste collection). The shuttle and wifi are reserved only for those who pay the exorbitant cost of the umbrella. Now you even pay to enter the "educational forest" (i.e. the pine forest). Not recommended for those with children. Not recommended for those who don't have a high budget. Not recommended for those who love genuine tourism. Recommended for those who want to spend a lot for disappointing service in a beautiful place. After years of going there, I changed my destination. What a pity.

Wonderful bay, clear and beautiful sea, reachable with a 20-minute walk under the sun (I recommend stopping to see the Bauxite quarry). We were there 2 years ago and now it is very different. There is no place to be by the sea. Well accessible. As for the service is bad, the bar managers are rude and rude, they invaded the land that could be magnificent. To have a cot and a deckchair you had to pay 45€ PER PERSON an EXAGGERATION!!!!!. Before going back up we wanted to take a shower but not being customers of the lido you paid € 1 per person.
I would not recommend this place if you love comfort.

All very nice, relaxing if you choose the grass beach with chairs and umbrella "relaxation area"; certainly expensive but it was worth it. You can also choose the deckchair-only formula, to be placed independently on the rocky space at a lower price. The quality of the food that the restaurant offers very high, but being a farm with km0 products should reduce prices. The location brightens the spirits but not the wallet. Equip yourself with rock shoes for the descent to the sea facilitated by stone steps. Spectacular sea. However a day with all the comforts would definitely recommend

A bar where (without it being written anywhere) they don't make coffee from 1pm to 4pm is in itself an aberration. But the rudeness with which, in response to our simple and polite request, we were literally and rudely chased away has no equal in my experience! The stocky, dark and bespectacled "gentleman" who works there and who could do anything in his life except an activity in contact with the public is unworthy of Salento hospitality.

Wonderful place to fully enjoy the beauty of the landscape and the sea. The bay, even when it is very busy, offers the opportunity to have a corner all to yourself giving moments of true relaxation.
The lido, beautiful, offers simple services just so as not to contaminate the already natural beauty. The restaurant, a real treat, offers dishes in full harmony with nature: colorful, imaginative and tasty! The balanced menu, with suitable proposals and all prepared with passion: you can understand it from the presentation and selected ingredients always of excellent quality!
The efficient and polite service, informal but attentive; in short:
simply perfect to enjoy a very pleasant experience!

I join the judgment of many others: lovely place, embarrassing management.
The Baia delle Orte is one of the most suggestive places in Salento; the current managers are totally inadequate and incapable of activity, they are only lucky enough to be the only ones on site.
Beyond the prices well above average, the arrogance of the Owner, the cashier and the total lack of courtesy stand out. Classy place that guarantees more rights to those who spend something more: for example, the shuttle service is allowed only to those who take the umbrella or the sunbed in the “tamarisk area” (as they call it to give themselves a tone); for all the others, who have also spent a lot between bars, restaurant and various beds, the road is made on foot.
Learn to treat locals and tourists well. Learn what hospitality means. If you are not able, go back to Switzerland, you do not deserve Salento.

For the second year, I was at the new Lido delle Orte. I find the place magnificent for the beauty of nature and I like the way the lido with the lawn is organized, the relaxation area, the restaurant on the sea. Surrounded by over 100 hectares of nature. In 8 we took two stations and spent 180 eur.It is expensive but just over 20 eur per person. The restaurant offers very tasty dishes with a marked improvement over last year.
I remember well what the Orte were like a few years ago, a paradise turned garbage dump. It was then bought by a Swiss couple whom I thank for completely reclaiming the area and for taking care of the natural park. Owner is always there, he looks like Terence Hill.
I've read the controversial reviews, especially for A-list and B-list customers. What about, I would propose to charge the shuttle to everyone (it is certainly not a public service) and then scale it to those who take the relaxation area.
I hope to return already this year!

We were walking the path of Salento, magnificent place, the refreshment area was revealed and we decided to take advantage of it.
Before ordering we were told that the WiFi was not working and that therefore they would only accept "cash".
For us it was no problem, so we ordered 1 coffee, 1 juice and a 75 bottle of water. Cost 10 euros and no tax receipt.... I used to distil sea water and drink that...

Pure madness... embarrassing everything, the prices even in the Emerald Coast, or at least you can pay even more but the service offered is embarrassing. Bad everything, indecent sunbeds and umbrellas, 45 euros per person I did not even pay them at a luxury beach club with swimming pool in front of the sunbeds. I think you still have a lot of work to do.... It is not enough to have the beautiful sea, that is everywhere!
