About
Principe Corsini Estate stretches out over a hillside covered with vineyards, olive trees and woodland. It is set in the very heart of Chianti on the main road from Florence to Siena, only 16 km south of Florence. The Renaissance Villa stands on the highest hill in the very centre of the estate. The Italian garden overlooking the valley and the vast fourteenth century wine cellars and oil jar-storage complete the picturesque scenario. GUIDED TOURS AND WINE TASTING: we organize guided tours of the cellars, the oil mill and the "orciaia" with explanatory tours of the winemaking techniques and olive pressing. The tours ends with a tasting of the organic wines and olive oil.

Great wines and tours here with cooking classes too Request Eduardo on your visit for an insightful and fun tour. The Prosecco and Zac wine are spectacular as is the olive oil. Very important winery in the heart of Chianti
I highly recommend it you can get a tour out from Florence or if you’re staying nearby

If you stumble across this place - you have found a real gem. We stayed at the villa which was wonderful. The wine tour was really interesting and Ilda our guide was great. She was very down to earth, interesting and knowledgable (as well as patient with our impatient 4 yr old). The history of the family alone was extremely interesting. It is home to the oldest and largest Olive grove in Italy. The food in the restaurant is delicious & the wine is amazing. The staff are so wonderful - we really couldn't have had a better stay and experience. (The wine tour was part of our villa rental).

We visited as part of a wine tour. We loved exploring the grounds and the historic cellar as we learned about the history of the space and the winemaking process. The wines we tried were world class. The sparking rosé was a favorite, and we really enjoyed the Chiantis we sampled. The olive oil was the best we have ever had. We highly recommend a stop here if you're in Tuscany- wine drinkers will not be disappointed, and if you're lucky enough to be there on a warm, sunny day there might not be a prettier place in Italy to enjoy it.

This was a bad experience. So, we had a lot of wine tasting in Piedmont last year and experienced this as very positive. This was our first in Tuscany and we where really looking forward to it. (The hotel we stayed at had ordered the wine tasting for us)
First we got 3 glasses each on the table. There they poured up a very small amount of wine and told us NOT to drink it until they had explained us about the content. Fair enough.
We waited a long time - looking at the wine. Finally our host came and explained a little about the three types. Still we could not taste ...
We had ordered lunch at the same time and it turned out the three tiny glasses were meant to be drinks for lunch too.
The lunch was mediocre. Thick cutted prosciutto and melon as a starter… with quite boring pasta and a decent dessert. No more.
Two of us drank all the wine (together top a normal glass of wine) during lunch and had to ask for more. It did not seem popular.
They just filled a little bit of wine to one of us - and the other person had to get the host back and ask if he also could get a few drops ...
Thats all the wine we got during the whole «wine tasting».
The tour was decent. Proff and engaged. The host seemed to be VERY bored.
When she finished the tour, she just walked out of the store without even saying «good buy« or asking if we had any questions.
We did not know what to do, but asked one of the other members of the staff if the trip was over now - something she confirmed. Then we asked to buy some of the wines we had tasted. Certainly not the person we encountered which wines it was, so we just had to guess.
That there may be a big difference in wine tasting from Piedmont and to this place in Tuscany is incomprehensible.
Sorry, its a nice place but it is not recommended for wine tasting.

I am a frequent client of Le Corti, I find the place to be very peaceful, green and tasty.
There you can experience a whole tuscan sense ensemble: one can look at the stunning view on the vineyards and tuscan countryside, one can smell flower and grape scents, one can hear the natural peace of tuscany, one can touch the leafs of the plants from which the wine is created, and one can complete this amazing experience by tasting tuscan food accompanied by red, white to rosé wine.
I recommend it very much to everyone, especially people who want to have a taste of the fusion between nouvelle cuisine & tuscany's finest countryside and wine.
Their costumer service is great, everyone was available and enthusiastic.

“First things first, I’m the realest. Drop this and let the whole world feel it.” - Iggy Azalea 🌺
I feel like that classic proverb of the Midwest’s best, Igloo Azaloo really sums it up in regards to our amazing autumnal arrival to this sprawling Italian manor. We found ourselves at the intersection of modern and days of old with the waitstaff’s lovely Toscanini attire with plates of dare I say brass? Copper? Whatever they were was mint condition, I could barely contain my barks of joy seeing the period pieces of this mansion. We had a vundervull time (tick tock 🕰 , not the app teehee) just propagating the fields. I had brought Nana’s favorite watering can with our family pet Pobbles’ (RIP 👑) prints and likeness etched and bound to the canvas cover. The fieldworkers didn’t seem to mind my constant filling of the am as bladder at their water sprayer, which they referred to with plenty a rolled tongue as a “foontayn”. I’m getting the goosies just thinkin about that water. Warm in color, and blue to the touch like a baby’s bottom fresh out the Vaccini Del Corso, located just youtside of the town itself.
After running amuck in the fields, my jowels and bowels full of the finest Toscanini panini wahini grapes money can fly, it was time to put my gnarled toesies to the test: WE WERE STOMPIN’ THE YARD, Nick Cannon style! By that I mean we were crushing the excess grapes with our bare feet. A tall young man named Jalloppy helped my frail frame into a barrel and I just started going hog wild. I smashed so many, I didn’t even mind the seeds under me nails! Once the staff found the my ingrown toenails (of which there are a few, I’m not gonna lie, 😆 DM me for pics if you’re a podiatrist and take Geico as a form of medical insurance!) they correctly separated my juices from that of the main group. They put it in the fanciest decanter I’ve ever gleaned (made of glass, possibly stained but not confirmed as hard as I cried) and told us it was “supper time”. Apparently that just means it’s time to have sun down chow down upside down FROWN 😀 aka Din Din. It was a three and a half course meal (gave my last half to an old woman who was pawsibly ethereal, I didn’t have my ghost detectors) and the foot juice wine had your boy loose like a moose. And I ain’t GOOSE-in ya about that, lol! We played piano and did the Italian polka (flamenco) into the Yee hours of the mourning. And boy was I sad, we cried as we said our farewells to the staff, just a dynamite group of folks. I can’t wait for a chance to get back and teach Marshlan the rest of the stanky leg, made popular in the late oughts by none other than MOÍ myself. I remember the Vespa taxi driver asking me so many questions on the way back and all I could make out between the sons and shouts of glee was “You just had to be there, ya square.” He was a real guy, that gal. I remember the sun coming up, the windows sprawled open as I arrived back at our rental unit outside of the grand mahall cathedral. I left the windows down as I voided myself, making eye contact and just having a wave at the early morning risers, most of whom I would never see until our Tulum trip later in the winter (probably? Say yes, Nana 👵!!!). Hope you have as swell a time as I, this excursion to Tuscany was amazing. One grip I have is that they wouldn’t let me bring in my Lay’s and Guac that I uncovered from a backyard seven E-leven just down the cobblestones from this zone. All that being sled, I’m giving this spot at yeast, the very, 17 clinked glasses of hot Chard out of 12 mashed potatoes and grape-vy. Give the hostess my regards, tell her “Charlie Broken Toes” sends his/her regards. Much love, keep it red, white, and green out their Italy. Man, it’s really a place. And that’s my guarantee.

We arrived on (American) Thanksgiving Day with a bit of trepidation. We had been unable to confirm a tour ahead of time, and had to trust the web site that the Villa le Corti was in fact open on this late Fall day after a season where the olive crop had been declared a total loss and deformed olives still clung to the trees. A bit of sunshine poked through the clouds as we drove up to the estate around noon. We were the only car in the parking lot. No tours were being offered today, but we were invited to wander the grounds. With gold and scarlet leaves still clinging to the vines and the silver olive trees backlit against dark clouds, the views were breath-taking. We peeked into the silent olive press, a bit sad that it wouldn't be used this year. Later, we ate lunch, our Thanksgiving feast, in what was effectively private dining in the restaurant - with a fine bottle of chianti, pheasant terrine, and deer stew with polenta. Even off season and in a year without a harvest, Villa le Corti should not be missed.

Three NJ couples, somewhat “foodies” and wine lovers visited the Principe Corsini winery for a day of cooking during our visit to Tuscany - this was a highlight of our trip and we cannot say enough about the people there, the winery, the history and above all our guide and teacher, Michela! Our leisurely afternoon was spent touring the winery and learning about the long history of the family that runs the vineyards. We were then delighted to spend time cooking in an authentic Tuscan kitchen, steeped in history and prepared homemade pasta, a traditional Panzanella, a Chicken “secondi” and a delicious self-made authentic tiramisu! If you visit Tuscany, spend a day here and experience this wonderful place and cooking class - you will not be disappointed.

We were a group of 4 looking for a private cooking class during our week in Tuscany. With so many to choose from, it was tough making a decision but I’m sure glad we chose this one! Our instructor, Michaela, met us at 10:30 am and whisked us away for a behind the scenes tour of the 600 year old winery and Villa property. We didn’t expect a tour of this and were so pleased to see and learn so much about it’s history.
We then went into the Villa where the Corsini family still lives and down into the original 600 year old kitchen to start our class. I got goosebumps. It was like a scene in a movie.
We learned how to make an appetizer cheese flan, homemade pasta, chicken with a wine sauce and tiramisu.
The table was set with an antique candelabra and we all sat to enjoy the meal we had prepared together. The kitchen had also prepared us a lovely charcuterie board and the best bruschetta I’ve ever had.
We tasted 3 wines over the course as well as the Corsini olive oils. They were in no rush to push us out. Michaela grew up in the area so she shared so many amazing stories with us and finally, at 2:45, we relunctantly decided it was time we left. I have read other reviews here that were not so favourable and honestly don’t understand since this was truly one of the best experiences I had. All I can say is look no further and ask for Michaela. She is energetic, knowledgable and so charming. And a special thank you also goes out to Alesandra at the front desk for being so kind.
