A friend of mine suggested us to go there; so we did. It was about the best day of our vacation. We experienced a small wine and olive oil tasting and it was great! In the lovely shop we bought some wines, olive oils and balsamic vinegar and at the end we were invited to see the wine cellars and... More

In the countryside near Greve. Our walking group stopped here at the end of a 2 mile walk. It’s a lovely location with beautiful views over the vineyards. One of the owners took us on a cellar tour, discussing Chianti classico as well as their rose' and pinot grigio. We sat outside on the terrace at three big tables and... More

Stopped by this winery for a tasting and were underwhelmed. Although we were two people, we were expected to share one glass for the tasting. Both the wine and olive oil were enjoyable. The winery is has a pretty view and offers a variety of tours and classes. However, we did not participate in these.

Old family type winery located about an hour out of Florence. We were greeted by the manager and offered wine upon entering. He started the tour where numerous barrels were stored and informed us how the various wines were made and housed. We then went to a tasting room to sample several types of wines and cheeses. Very informative tour.

We came to Tuscany for the week of New Years without realizing that many wineries close during that time. I sent a few emails out to try to set up a few tastings. I felt fortunate when Simone said they could accommodate us on New Years Eve. I was even more thankful after the tour and tasting. When the winemaker... More

What a tour! We scheduled of "Taste of Tuscany" through Viator tours. After a nice 30 minute drive from the city of Florence to Tenuta del Palagio we were greeted by the winemaker Simone Coppi. What a nice gentleman. He took his time and gave us a thorough tour and educated us on how, why, when and where the processes... More

In the last 2 years my husband and I have spent 6.5 weeks in Italy on business and tours. We've seen a lot of beautiful cathedrals, museums and historical sites. It was time for a change, so we decided to do a "Chianti Tour." That is how my husband and I ended up stopping here. It was off season, so... More

The proprietor of this winery speaks perfect English and he is not only knowledgeable but enthusiastic about the wines and olive oils made there. We were able to have a tasting without a reservation but calling ahead might be a good thing. Tours of the wine and olive oil processes are available. There is a large map of the region... More

Recently visited this amazing winery during a walking tour of Tuscany. This was our lunch stop after a fabulous hike through the countryside. They were in the middle of grape harvest, so we were able to watch the process from the beginning. The folks were friendly, lunch was super delicious, especially the soup. Brought back 5 bottles of their wine,... More

A most enjoyable coach tour to a beautiful area. Cellar tour and wine tasting enjoyable but the light meal and wines while making friends with people from far flung corners of the world was superb! Hosting was excellent and the wines magnificent. Thank-you!
