Miles of really good sand with various restaurants etc , but which do not impinge on the sense of being by the sea as they are set back nicely. Mostly a gentle and enjoyable tide as well.

One of the top beaches in Algarve, we visited in October and were lucky enough to have it all for ourselves. Really relaxing afternoon spent there.

The beach is stunning with low cost cocktails to hand making it paradise. So many lovely shops on the front and a market with local traders.

We were delighted to find the really lovely beaches in this area. We enjoyed lovely walks along the coastline admiring the delightful little coves and rocky outcrops.

Great to walk along, lay on, or grab a snack on. Prices were a bit high but I've seen worse. Make sure to check out the Marina at the east end too. Some nice boats in there.

The boardwalk is quite flat but getting to it may be problematic. I cannot remember if there was an elevator. Sorry!
