This is on the promenade heading out of Playa blanca past the Rubicon marina. There was a good information board with English translation explaining about the feature. Does not take much time to read about it or view it.

When you read the history of the building and area, you get a sense of it's importance. I can't say too much more than what is on the Notice Board at the site.

Used to be a remote location, now surrounded by hotels & the Marina. Still possible to imagine what it might have been like a few years ago.

A plaque tells the history about it and although now surrounded by modern developments it still has a nice old feel. Lots of people there at sunset and had great views west over marina and Playa Blanca. A bonus toilets too !

I flew there like a powerful monster and appeared like magic on top of the building. Looks a bit like it was built to kill people in. Lack of fadge but still it's worth a look.

Definitely not worth making a detour. OK, it's old, but not THAT old. Not much on the islands is old, having had no one but the indigenous people there till about 1400.
