Just outside the town of Teguise and perched on a hilltop this is well worth visiting if you're in the area. The entrance fee was a very reasonable 3 euros and the castle inside has been made into a pirates museum ,quite interesting as it...More

A great place to spend an hour or so with the kids. The history is interesting as it was built in part to defend against pirates. The story is well laid out but would like to have seen more things for kids to pick up,...More

We visited this castle as we had read about how great the views were but the castle itself is fantastic with interesting displays aimed at younger children but we found it thoroughly enjoyable and interesting.

The entrance is very cheap the exhibition itself is therefore interesting for the price and for who is likes the pirate stories. The view from the top of the fort is fantastic and worth seeing.

Fantastic views right nex to the castle, no need to pay 3 euros to go to the roof cos you will get exactly the same view just next to it.

Hi, there is a toilet - a very clean one. Opposite side of the entrance. No Cafe, but there is a patisserie on the main road prior to turning up the hill to the Castle, on your right hand side.
