Walked from Bettmeralp to Riederalp after swimming in the lake, something I've always wanted to do but obviously not in the winter. I will definitely return in winter to experience this magical place. Even with it been summer there was still a lot to do...More

Awesome. I mean seriously what else can I say to describe this place. The resort was accommodating and suitably romantic for some muchu-muchu time! Riding the cable car upwards to this place gives you a breathtaking view of the horizon all the way to your...More

The most family friendly ski resort I ever visited. No cars allowed. Ski slopes are running through the village, so no hassle with driving to the first ski lift. Hiking paths are integrated in the ski area, so you (skiing and hiking) in some charming...More

If looking for skiing holiday its the place to go! No skiing no problem. Hiking/walking with amazing views surrounded by beautiful mountains is also an option. Access by cable car only. Few hotels to choose from, miles of slopes and walking trails.

I've been there for a long weekend with all the family. We have two little kids so I was looking for a place without cars where the kid could have played without dangers. And I must say that we found it exactly in Riederalp. The...More

Very calm village (car free), perfect for nature lovers and hikers. You can see the Matterhorn far on the other side of the valley. Two shops to get your groceries and a few restaurants and hotels. If you arrive late in the evening (although the...More
