The whole project looks simple. However, it was a massive engineering project, especially when it has to deal with the violent North Sea. Definite worth the extra trip to experience this great engineering works.

I had no idea the magnitude of this place. It is an engineering marvel and seeing it up close and personal was beyond anything I could possibly imagine. The time, energy and thought that went into this to save land and people was astounding.
