The Delta Works is such an important and impressive piece of engineering for the Netherlands that you would expect the Neeltje Jans to be a state-of-the-art Family Park. Instead it's an utter disappointment! I have no idea how some people can rate this park three...More

We were passing by early in the morning when the park was still closed so we did not enter. But we were amazed by the works that had been done here. Never seen something like that before.

First timer for us in this part of the country and we were amazed with the structure built for resolving flooding issues. The park was interesting with the various videos & information on the development of the Deltaworks structure. The all inclusive price was reasonably...More

The engineering is amazing. Start in the visitor center with the movie then head out to the pier. The sea lions are super cute. There are a lot of play areas for the young ones.

The venue overall is just so so - but forget the seals/aquarium and boat trips and head and focus on the vast Deltaworks and you'll love it. Everything is expensive - but restrooms are clean (and free). There is a great intro film explaining the...More

Off course a day out with the family costs money. Parking, entrance, a sandwich, fuel etc etc. But this park is worth it. Especially on a sunny and windy day where you can witness the forces of nature. Plenty to do for young children. Sealions,...More

Very interesting information about the delta works. Seal show and aquarium okay but could have been better. Best bit was going inside the delta works and seeing the exhibit and gates.

The Storm Barriers at Deltapark have a very important position in the Dutch history. However, the park itself is not that value for money I believe. Ticket prices are high. Its not very easily accessible by Public Transport (there is a bus which stops at...More

We've mixed feelings about this place. It offers a few attractions but they're all rather average. Aquarium is one of the smallest I've seen, see lions or seals shows are pretty short, in small pools and not spectacular. It's a nice area to walk outside...More

No, and I find that very dusturbing. And ridiculous. The whole thought is to learn and educate about the Delta Works and what water can do. Specially now with a rising sea level. But they made it into a very bad amusement... More
