Great local brewery. Met friends here for music and a drink before dinner. Gorgeous fall afternoon, but they had the music set up inside. Lots of people (popular singer) so rather cramped. Luckily we got there very early and got the last table. Friends enjoyed a beer flight and I enjoyed my wine. Available snack foods keep improving. Always such fun to go here!

Tusket Falls Brewing was on our list of breweries to stop in at while making our way around Nova Scotia doing the Nova Scotia Good Cheer Trail. We did not expect this place to be so big and beautiful! We arrived just as it was opening at noon on a Sunday and it was nice and quiet for us to enjoy a flight and listen to the soft tunes playing. The rustic look with a modern feel was very inviting and we felt like this would be a place we would visit all the time if it were in the town we lived in. They serve food as well. Items like Pizzas, Cheese Boards, Risotto Balls and chips. It seems that they do fun events here frequently too, such as Trivia Nights, Live Bands, Steak Dinner Night and Italian Dinner night. They sell a range of t-shorts, hats and beer glasses here as well, if you want some merch! We did a flight, which was only $8. We tried the Crack of the Rock Blonde Ale, which was nice and light, but with a bit of a butter aftertaste we weren't quite expecting. Our second was the Watch Me Work Now Gose, which we really enjoyed. It was a really fresh and light beer; easy to sip. The Electric City Mango Sour was very mango-y and kind of a thick texture. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a fan though! Our last was the Raspberry Sour IPA. We really enjoy the sour beers, and this one was the perfect mix of tartness and sweetness.

We stopped by for a beer and ended up having a light dinner too. The beers were very good. The service was great. They even tapped a beer a day early because I said I was interested in sampling it. We spend some time talking with the waitress about her Jim Morrison & Janis Joplin tatoos.

Had a wonderful visit to the Tusket Falls Brewing Company on Saturday, August 24. We enjoyed our flights of beer. We were very capably served by Elly Patterson , a most gracious Host. Took home four cans of our faves, Crack of the Rock, Electric City,A Diversion in Life and Watch me Work Now. A lovely spot to stop and partake on a hot afternoon. Had fun with the other patrons too. Hats off to all who make this a special place! Beth McGee Halifax, NS

I attended trivia night here - what a fun experience! The local beers were delicious, the brewery was clean and nicely designed, and everyone was friendly.
