Modern facility, well laid out museum exhibits and art exhibitions that change frequently. Look out for the Molly Morpeth Art competition in the first quarter of each year that attracts works from all around New Zealand

A world class exhibition of art. I visited this collection of works 5 times. Exhibitions change about every 6 weeks or so. The gallery is modern and a real asset to Whakatane with a great museum collection to compliment the centre.
