For a vitalizing, life-opening experience of yoga teacher training that deepens your personal and professional yoga practice, few locations on the planet equal Nosara Yoga Institute(R) on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Directed by Amba and Don Stapleton, PhD, Nosara Yoga Institute offers 200-, 300- and 500-hour yoga teacher training programs approved by the Yoga Alliance. We are also a registered Children's Yoga School and a Charter Member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. In addition, daily yoga classes are open to the public for a modest fee. All programs are held on our landmark campus, in open air pavilions amid breathtaking jungle scenery that provides a serene environment ideal for deepening your yoga practice. Beautiful accommodations just adjacent to the Institute are available at the Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort. We highly recommend our students to stay here. Both the town of Nosara and the gorgeous beaches of the Pacific Ocean are within walking distance, adding to the experience that is Nosara Yoga.

Spent in a week in Nosara and took advantage of the community yoga classes in a beautiful open air pagoda. The instructors were fantastic and the view, oh the view! Peaceful, centering and beautiful.

A beautiful and relaxing place - I only visited to do yoga. The place is gorgeous, my instructor was great, and I sat by the pool and had a smoothie and enjoyed the view after.

We dropped in for a class that was open to the public (not all are) and were very impressed. Luxurious is an understated way, quiet & peaceful, the class was held in an open air pavilion that seemed to float in the trees! Appropriately challenging...More

On my weeklong trip, I went to two yoga sessions, both small class – under 10 people in this open air studio surrounded by jungle and overlooking the ocean. World class instructors, beautiful and relaxing experience.
