It looks impressive from the outside, especially at sunset, but inside was very dissapointing. But it definitly does a good job as a landmark...

This is an interesting building because of the mixture of architectural styles that don't quite clash. As a place of worship it was tranquil but not spiritual and I really don't like their "electric" alternative to lighting a candle in memory of loved ones.
The Cathedral in Santa Ana is quite beautiful, and worth a walk around if you're in town. We were there around Christmas Eve and the church was really lovely inside.
Easy to visit, meaning not a long, involved event. Can be done in 30 minutes. Well maintained, good views, with doing if you've got the time.

Nice church, at the center of Santa Ana town, just besides the central plaza and theater. The face is in white stone and the rest of the building in red bricks.
This is the nicest cathedral I have seen in Central America so far. We've been to Honduras & Guatemala. Beautifully maintained in front of a grand park.
