This is one of the top tourist attractions in El Salvador.
Located in the biological corridor call Apaneca-Ilamatepec, Santa Ana volcano is considered one of the jewels of Central America.
If you are looking for the best things to do , We have designed this tour for you.
The walk takes approximately 2 hours to climb and another 2 hours to descend, this can vary according to the physical condition of the people. On top of the volcano you can see one of the best craters worldwide with an emerald green lagoon,

At the end of the adventure we drive to Coatepeque lake for a relaxing time and have lunch.
The tour is fantastic for nature lovers or adventurers.

It‘s basically a normal shopping mall but surprisingly big for Santa Ana. This is the place if you need to replace some simple electronic items or memory cards or whatever. Food court is the normal mall standard (kind of hidden on the backside of the mall). Starbucks available but the experience in a local coffee shop somewhere is more genuine! If I got it right, the international Tica bus leaves somewhere around this area. If you have to get there in the dark from somewhere in the city center and with luggage I would recommend to take a taxi!

Metro Centro is a typical mall whit most everything you need. When I was there this year the was a very large expansion going on so it was a little difficult to find parking but other than that everything was business as normal.

A modern shopping mall in Santa Ana, El Salvador, this place has everything that you need. There are a number of Western/Ameican food outlets like McDonalds etc and a number of designer type outlets. What is lacking are local products, notably local arts and crafts. This was therefore a bit of a disappointment but served our needs as all we needed was lunch and ATMs. It could have been a shopping mall in Miami or Singapore!

I'm not a mall person, but this one had all the requisite stores, restaurants, etc. You can pretty much find whatever you need here and easy to get to.
