A haven of peace

Went to a St Brigid 's day celebration here. It's such a beautiful spot. Very spiritual and peaceful.

Visiting this spiritual center devoted to St. Brigit was very inspiring. The nuns there are providing a sacred space by their incredible service of preserving and maintaining an ongoing spiritual tradition of the Divine Feminine. The meditation space indoors and the grounds outdoors, including a labyrinth were very conducive to reflection and personal and group connection to spirit.

A lot of thought has gone into creating the building and its grounds, as well as the individual rooms, all with the purpose of giving a welcoming place that incites you to meditate and come to rest. I don´t want to spoil your journey of discovery by providing too many details. An example though: In autumn, the spatious conference room... More

We have been visiting the Brigidine sisters, who tend the perpetual flame of St Brigid, for nine years with our tour groups. They are such loving and heart centred souls that a visit to them is a truly special experience. Their new centre, Solas Bhride, is testament to their integrity and life principles and is a shining light so needed... More

I have met the Sisters several times over the years and brought a number of travel groups and friends to visit. We have alway had a very warm welcome and the new center is just magnificent! For anyone who might like to bring a tour group to Kildare and the flame of Brigid, you couldn't come to a better place.... More

I met Sisters Mary & Phil in 2002 with my first American tour group. The new Solas Bhride Centre was only a twinkle in their eye back then. Today it is a magnificent gathering place for people interested in one of the core elements of Celtic Spirituality---Saint Brighid, equal to Saint Patrick, reminding us of the presence of God in... I love this building. There is a room shaped like a St. brigid's Cross and it took my breath away. The grounds are immaculately kept. St. Brigid's Well is located nearby. I went to a concert here as part of Feile Bride 2016 and the acoustics were out of this world

The Center is run by nuns who are dedicated to St. Brigid. Meditation and quiet room. Labyrinth to walk. Left with a peaceful heart.

This is a wonderful place - and is as good as you make it. Enter with an open heart and the sisters will make you feel very much at home from the first moment. They will tell you anything you wish to know about Brighid and their work, and the centre provides a haven of peace, tranquility and love. We... More

This centre is a wonderfully peaceful and spiritual place. Run by Catholic nuns of the Brigidine Sisters. The recently built centre is an absolute blessing, and they have worked hard to create a welcoming and warm place to spend as little or as much time as you like. We visited on our own and were shown around the centre, and... More
