I would suggest this beach and also the walk between Fabrica and Cacela Velha, just along the Ria Formosa. Wonderfull
Go early or late to this pretty Algarve village if you are to miss the tourist throngs. Wonderful views from the headland location. Good od bathing on the sand down below.
Worth the walk about. The restaurant wasn’t to our taste. If you like sardines or razor clams (worms) you might enjoy it.
Take a stroll through the old town until you reach the cliff edge where you will have an amazing uninterrupted view of the coastline. The light here is magical and time seems to almost stand still. This is a oeach for walking though not for lying in the sun as the tide covers…
The old arabians that ruled Algarve in the past, said that the main interest to own Cacela Velha was the beauty of the place...and so far they are still right. Visit, see, breath and feel this magic place.
