This small but interesting museum, owned by a private entity, showcases a great balance between business (the slate quarry) and science. It deserves all the support as it strives to find, preserve, study and display a valuable collection of several species of unusually sized trilobites (some over 50cm). Unique museum in the world , where we can simply and very direct , millions of years of history . The examples on display are simply fantastic!

The centre is not freely open to the public - you have to telephone ahead, which is sad considering the importance of the trilobites as a universal and scientific treasure. There is an excellent museum, a short film, but not that much else - oh what they could do here.
