Disappointed as drove around looking for entry and could not locate it. Lot of signs still down since the hurricane.

Had a quick stop to see this wonderful natural beauty. Told by the locals this pond is bottomless and is fed by the sea through an under pathway.

Walked down gravel path and found this pleasant small pond. A nice place to meditate and de-stress as you will find yourselves to be only one there.

It's a pond... That's about it. Supposedly great for bird watching, but other than that, not much to say.

The upside of Cottage Pond is that, relative to many other sights on North Caicos, it is relatively easy to find. It looks like a stereotypical swimming hole albeit one that I would not trust that the water is clean enough to swim in.

The road to the pond was bad, and I mean VERY bad. Be sure to stop in time as you could easily find yourself on the lip of the pond. It was interesting to see and note that the pond was formed by small fisures...More

It's interesting once you know the story of Cottage Pond. It's quite beautiful, and chattering playful Lesser Grebes are fun to watch. it's a good place to spend 30 minutes to an hour.
