We spent the morning touring the marsh watching as the harvesting continued. Learning about the berry, how it is grown and then harvested was a pleasant pastime. The farm store offered all things cranberry including delicious cranberry wine.

An impromptu visit to Johnston's was worth the stop, especially since we had never seen a cranberry marsh before. It was fun to try the cranberry and cran/blueberry wine and do a little early Christmas shopping. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the visit.

Fun to see this and it makes amazing photos! I took a walk out amongst the marshes and then checked out the cafe to top it off

We had this on our bucket list for ages. FINALLY got to go this year. Actually had to go twice. We did the bog to bottle tour on a Friday after their 'festival weekend'. Guide was very informative and the small group learned a lot about the whole cranberry process. Lots of fun treats and things to buy in the... More

Great guided tour. Learned a lot. Followed the recommendation for a walk around the lake. The farm's dog trooper guided us. Got very well along with our lab. Beautiful scenic walk. Tasty wine tasting. Whitney facilitated it very enjoyable for us. And we learned that we could buy their wine at the LCBO. We will do so, either cranberry or... More

We found this place because of a sign that said Cranberry capital and all the great reviews on Trip Advisor. We were so glad we decided to stop and check it out. We arrived just as the last wagon ride of the day was getting ready to leave. The wagon ride was really nice and we learned a lot about... More

This was a nice weekend visit to Muskoka and we learned a lot about how cranberries are grown and harvested. Tried some tasty treats as well. It got a bit crowded and we had to park way down the lane but the day was so warm and beautiful that we did not mind. They have various activities ready for visitors.... More

I went during the cranberry festival so i did not get to see the entire operation (packed) they had nice walking trails and wagon rides with guide around the bogs. Good place to spend an hour or 2 while in the area. I think it would be great for families with curious children.

We visited the marsh and winery this past weekend during the Bala Cranberry Festival. Watching them harvest the berries was interesting and then enjoyed a nice glass of wine which they make on site. They had wagon rides, wine tasting, food to enjoy and the opportunity tovwade into the berries. Helicopter rides to enjoy the fall colours were also available. Lots... More
