Jihlava Fortifications offer a peak into history of the town. However there is nothing much to see if you are visiting without local person.

This was amazing to see the original city wall and then climb to the top and view the city. Beautiful.

Well, you haven't been to Jihlava if you haven't been to Jihlavske Hradby - Jihlava Fortification! Must see for all travelers + make sure you see Brana Matky Bozy - Holy Mother Gate (last one of 5 city gates) too!!!

Jihlava fortification is one of most beautiful short city walks in this region, I particularly like the playgrounds and new small lake with Gustav Mahler's statue. There are plenty nice places to sit down and enjoy the moment.
