We have an annual pass and love walking on the boardwalks when the tide is up and the beach isn't walkable. Scenic views of the jetty and inlet. Great place to surf or watch the surfers. Covered tables and grills available. Love it!

I will comment on the park itself, although before you enter the park you can visit the lighthouse and marine science center. A lot of boardwalk in the park with steps, not sure if there is a handicap accessible one. Lots of raccoons and buzzards....More

There is no charge to browse the gift shop but there is a charge for the museum and to ascend the lighthouse. Well worth the cost as you get to see how the lighthouse operates and how the lighthouse keepers lived.

Very well kept up lighthouse, all the emploees were helpful. A lot to see plan about hour and a half or two for your visit. Bring your stair shoes, you will need them for 203 steps up and 203 back down. Well stocked gift shop.

$6.95 for an adult gets you access to the historic site including the lighthouse tower climb. They have essentially preserved the area with the old watchmen houses, fuel storage areas etc. The climb up the tower is relatively easy - not too narrow with breaks...More

While visiting the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, it's worth the added time to also take a walk around the Lighthouse Point Park. It's a beautiful area and makes for a very relaxing afternoon.

Daytona Beach is not a place to find shells. Not sure why but we didn't find any and were told we would have to travel to another beach if we wanted to hunt for shells. We ended up taking a drive to Treasure Island on the... More

I agree with Pattys33, the two restaurants at the park are over priced, though Inlet Harbor has good food. If you want a really laid back place where you can wear a bathing suit and eat at picnic tables try Boondocks a... More
