We called in to Aberlour distillery on our first day in the area, as its one of our favourite whiskys, to be told tours were fully booked for our 4 days in the area. We subsequently found out at our hotel on our last day,...More

The tour of Aberlour Distillery was twice the cost of most distillery tours that we went on, but the tasting at the end was the best we experienced, both in terms of number of whiskies tasted and the tutoring during the tasting. The tour itself...More

Stop 3 on our Whisky tour. I have been a fan of Aberlour scotch for some time, and was very pleased to be able to see where it comes from. Loved the small feel, but was a bit put off by the constant mention of...More

This distillery was again different to others we'd visited. From the tour the distillery appeared small but based on their volumes they aren't small. Our tour guide (Hamish) was pretty frank which I found refreshing. A downside was they didn't have an option for the...More

This was an interesting tour, a good overview of the whisky making process. The tour guide was very good. The tastings were decent. The price was a little high in my opinion. My $0.02 on Dufftown distillery tours - unless you're a huge Scotch fan/have...More

Lovely relaxed and informative tour around the distillery. Knowledgeable guide and fantastic tastings - all five of them! Stunning room for tastings just remember to bring empty miniatures so the drivers can take their drams home or you can buy from the visitors shop.

We had a great visit to the distillery as part of my husbands birthday surprise. There were 6 samples to taste which pleased my husband and son.

Lovely little Distillery shop helpful staff and a great collection of scotch which we enjoyed looking through - easy parking outside - no toilets or coffee shop

Hello!!!! Ok, need some help booking a night or two in Aberlour in June of this year. My husband and I are huge fans of your single Malt, but our kids (ages 13 and 14) are not!!! Can you give us some advice on where to stay and if theres stuff for the tweens to do? I have been to Aberlour before but its been 20 years!!!! We'd like to stay June 9-11th and looking for a budget friendly one that we could get to by train/bus from Edinburgh and still do a tour with you all. Can you give me a few names you'd recommend?
