We decided to visit the battlefield as something a bit different to do. The walk itself is free, but there is a cost for the museum, which is well worth paying as it is informative and interactive. The walk is around 2km of different terrains, with information points along the way. A really good walking day out. Toilets are also... More

A group of 26 of us went for a morning learning about the Battle of Bosworth. We had John as our great guide to walk us around the area and inform us about the reality of the famous battle. The exhibition is very interactive and has been well presented for anyone to enjoy. I would thoroughly recommend this for a... More

Visited here from a boat on the ashby canal. Lovely museum with lots of hands on exhibits. The walk around the battlefield was lovely with various information boards along the way.

If you are interested in history but want all the hard work done for you, this is the place for you. The exhibition is very well designed and provides all the information you could need about the battle of Bosworth. There is also an outdoor walk and a very pleasant onsite restaurant

Very nice centre and staff very helpful. Plenty to see and lots of information but if no displays not much else. The walk around the site is probably the most popular activity but it takes a long time. The car park fee of £2.50 is too much if the visit is for a short time only.

The exhibition is very informative and interesting. The battlefields are beautifully kept. The cafe is slightly overpriced. We were disappointed to have to pay for parking.

Our first visit, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The Routiers de Rouen recreate life at the time of the battle and were camped in a field at the site. It was fascinating seeing the armour, weapons and living conditions in the flesh; the Routiers were informed and interesting and it really made it come to life. The cafe was excellent with... More

The battlefield itself has of course undergone a lot of changes since back then but worth a walk round if it is a nice day - even just to get context. The visitors centre I found deceptively large - lots of really good history plus lots about the battle and so on including Europes biggest collection of medieval cannonballs. A... More

Visited the cafe with friends for drinks and cakes. The cakes looked lovely (I didn't have one) and my friends said they were. Quite pricey. Staff friendly.
