Called here with our little dog whilst staying in Rye, easy to get to once you find where you are going as it isn't sign posted very well

Loos, parking and a big Sussex beach. Great for families, dog walkers and nature lovers. Flat walking and cycling on the private road behind.

Take time out to sit on the the beach & relax, just listen to the surf & singing birds in... More

A lovely shingle beach but other than 1 cafe and toilet block there is absolutely nothing however there is a large field and park across the road.

The area around is very flat and it does get quite windy. Some fear of currents here and further along towards Rye.

Just spent a week at Winchelsea Sands caravan park and visited this beach several times. Spotted the bunnies in Dogs Hill Road. Walked up to the Mary Stanford Life Boat Hut. Lovely walks even if it is just to find shells.

Husband and I spent three days in Rye last week in a surprising September heatwave. As well as the delights of the gorgeous medieval town we wanted to get out on the beach. Camber was fine, but busy and actually quite expensive to park. We much preferred Winchelsea beach, not least because of the free parking on the side of... More
