Staying in Winchelsea, found this using Open Table. What a find! Very friendly welcome, for me a good range of beer and the food was excellent. Plenty of it, well cooked and reasonable value. Will definitely visit again when in the area

Beautiful old little place for delicious family meal & cold thirst quenching drinks. It’s located across the road from St Thomas the Martyr & little walk away from the Whinchelsea Court museum. Definite place to stop of a good meal. Friendly stuff

This pub is of the beaten track. Winchelsea is a lovely little village, Twice we have been in for lunch now to the New inn, it is great pub grub, can throughly recommend it, and the staff are also great.

Thhis pub has friendly staff and good food. Menu generlaly does not vary much and prices are slightly high but quality of food remains good. There is a nice layout to the pub and it has a log fire.
