The building houses not only information about various activities in the area, but also a cafe with various snacks as well as a shop which sells a huge variety of New Zealand goods.

Snack break with soup, chips, coffee, tray bakes and water. The soup with the roll was home made and really tasty. The cakes were superb. Nice café.

Geraldine is only about a two hour drive from Christchurch Airport and the Kiwi Country Visitor Centre is a great place to buy all of your last minute gifts. An excellent range without paying airport prices.

Very comprehensive shop comprising of varied range of localy produced goods and souveniers in easy to view displays. Coffe shop provided good range of wholesme local dishes.
