Lovely sandy beach with a strange plug-shaped rock just offshore, but scruffy apartment building on the seafront ruined the ambience for us.

Awesome little spot off the beaten path if you get tired of the historical streets of Seville or on your way thru. Pretty much a Holliday spot for sevillians. But as a international you'll be greeted with open arms. The beach is so massive. You...More

We walked along the coast by taking the road from the town to east until the development ends - plenty of car parking is available. A stunningly beautiful deserted beach backed by sand dunes. You can walk for miles and miles. The sea is quite...More

I was on September with my girlfriend and was incredible. Really quiet area and the landscape is amazing. You can find nature, relax and enjoying. The local restaurants are reall5 cheap and they have and excellent food. One of the best beaches of the south

Cold wind and many places were closed the to this being a beach community. BUT, if you want to be alone to walk the beach and explore the dunes it is a great time, just dress for the weather. Drawback is there was some damaged...More

We were staying in Seville and decided on an afternoon at the beach so drove the 80km (1 hour) to Matalascanas. A beautiful place, but to say it was like a ghost town would be an understatement, we probably saw 4 or 5 people the...More

It is the closest beach to Seville, I thought it's not too bad at all.. We went there on a Saturday and it's quite a crowd of family and locals sun bathing and relaxing. I think it's quite normal for folks to sun bathed half...More
