The lake Achensee is a beautiful lake. There's a tour boat the coastal stop and a small cafe just at the boat landing serving beverages, coffee and ice cream. Warmly recommend this stop and perfect for some nice photos of great scenery.

If you upgrade your guest card to a holiday card once you are in achensee the train is free of charge , which is what we did. I'm not sure what the charge is as we never had to pay it .
