I attended a boat cruise and dinner at maclarens landing, straddie. What a lovely spot, had a bbq dinner and few drinks. I was able to network with colleagues, being a conference dinner it was a great venue for 150 or so people. Recommend to take the trip to Straddie.

Not a bad place to spend relaxing for a few days to soak up some Aussie bush and wildlife and enjoy the Aussie summer with family and friends

Not at all as amazing as it once was! The service has fallen dramatically and its only in consideration of the management change that i didn't rate 1 star. It was one disappointment after another in regards to the level of service, with things like dirty linens floating around for days and some very questionable food being served at what... More

The forest... More

This is an unconventional second review after completing my getaway at Couran Cove. I was so struck by the place while visiting that I pondered it's situation at some length. I've kept the same rating to avoid skewing averages but I really liked it here. The location is simply fantastic and it's easy to see where money was spent by... More

A friend planned a get away on Stradbroke Island--just hop onto ferry across to Island. Crossing was great as well with comfortable ferry to be on-food available on ferry. Stradbroke is a great place to go to -there a shops and enough eating places to keep most people happy. We did sand surfing and went on a four wheel drive... More
