You have to be very lucky to see turtle eggs cause the entire island is protected by enclosures. Fortunately the sea is amazing and then you can enjoy the beach.

This island is so called Tuttle island as it looks like a turtle and you can see them in the sea around the area. Fine shingle rather than sand but it's not a problem, at the beginning of May the sea was cold but once...More

If you enjoy a boat ride and a swim and don't mind paying about 40euros each then its fine, if the weather and Poseidon are good to you, to take pot luck with the turtle watch.

I would think so, if you can get to the mainland. There are many ways to visit the island from the mainland including speed boat hire and boat tours.

How would you get here from Zakynthos town? Also can you swim in the water in march? We made a mistake and booked our tickets for Greece in Late March 21-25, didn't realize it would be cold time there.. Do any boats go to the Turtle Island at this time?
