A typical Greek island warm friendly and fascinating. We hope that the influx of drunken teenagers does not change that.A beautiful sandy beach not always as clean as it should be. But an hour walk out on this beach with warm water around your ankles makes...More

The worst beach in Zante in my humble option. Just awful. Looked dirty, cigarettes on the sands and other litter, overcrowded, awful old sun beds where we looked.... I couldn't bring myself to stay for more than 10 minutes. With so many beautiful beaches in...More

We wanted to see it (and visit cameo island). The place is hot to party all night and crash on the beach the next day etc. But it had nothing to do with being in greece. Guess it's fair to day that the beach is...More

If you are in Laganas beach, go to the port and rent a boat; get it for at least 4 hours, you will not get bored. On the beach there is nothing to see.

Extremely safe for young children. Shallow depth of water for about 100 meters. Generally a prevailing onshore wind means inflatables not problematic. Lots of interest in May/June with Turtles

I suppose it's a matter of taste, but this is the worst of all the beaches on the island, considering it's one of the few sandy beaches there. Narrow strip of sand jammed with expensive sunbeds, noisy and/or drunk people, screaming children, mediocre restaurants and...More

The beach is so nice! Plenty of restaurants, cafes' and bars line the beach and if you buy food or a drink there, you can have a sunbed and Wi-Fi for free.

Yes the 1 mile or so between Laganos and Kalamaki is dunes and contains turtle nests. In the other direction, At Agias Sostis there are relaxing cocktail bars restaurants and private villas.

Good Morning we found it was best to hire a car for the day and you can do all the north of the island The blues caves and the shipwreck from above. If you want to see it from the beach you can do a boat trip which takes in... More
