Lovely to walk from Laganas to Kalamki and back. So clean and lots of places to stop along the way. Warm enough to swim in in October. Careful of the strong undercurrent, it's easy to get out of your depth without realising though
Sadly we are at the end of the season and many places closed. There is a long stretch of beach but it’s quality varied, probably because of the time of our visit.

Sand very clean, water clear. Plenty of sunbeds available (as long as you buy food or drink from Driftwood Bar, then their sunbeds are free, Hotel Poseidon Beach charge 6 euros a day for their sunbeds).

Great beach for swimming and walking as it goes on for miles. Lots of people offering sunbeds and loads of bars and restaurants. Don't forget to follow the rules to protect the turtles and their nests.

If you want to see it from the beach you can do a boat trip which takes in the blue caves and shipwreck beach in the same trip. If you want to make the most of your day with the car depending on what time of year you are going then a trip to Keri viewpoint to watch the sunset
