Lovely to walk from Laganas to Kalamki and back. So clean and lots of places to stop along the way. Warm enough to swim in in October. Careful of the strong undercurrent, it's easy to get out of your depth without realising though

Sadly we are at the end of the season and many places closed. There is a long stretch of beach but it’s quality varied, probably because of the time of our visit. Many souvenirs hops and small stores open. Would reserve judgement until I visit...More

Sand very clean, water clear. Plenty of sunbeds available (as long as you buy food or drink from Driftwood Bar, then their sunbeds are free, Hotel Poseidon Beach charge 6 euros a day for their sunbeds).

Returned to Laganas after 34 years and was totally shocked to see how built up & rundown it’s become. From a lovely little typical Greek town to something that resembles a ghetto. The main street leading to the beach consists of strip joints and night...More

We ate here a couple of times and there is a good selection. The girls had a full English while I had keto friendly diet with grilled cheese. Delicious

Great beach for swimming and walking as it goes on for miles. Lots of people offering sunbeds and loads of bars and restaurants. Don't forget to follow the rules to protect the turtles and their nests.

Yes the 1 mile or so between Laganos and Kalamaki is dunes and contains turtle nests. In the other direction, At Agias Sostis there are relaxing cocktail bars restaurants and private villas.
