Great stadium for viewing the action on field. We prefer the upper level in front of the centre of the field to see the whole field easily though all seats are close to the action. The seats are tiered higher there so shorter people can see well too. Drawbacks: there is no lift so you have to do the stairs... More

We attended AFL game at Metrion stadium and found the venue easy to get to on public transport and thd atmosphere at the stadium was fantastic. Can't wait to come back hopefully next year. Pity the Hawks lost but still had a great time

Like attending the footy but it's annoying you can't park there and as like most big venues the food and drink are expensive.

Easy public transport to/from the game via shuttle bus from the Nerang train station (free). No carpark available at the stadium, but could pay for parking nearby & walk. Fantastic new upgraded stadium that handled the crowds well. Felt as if you were close to the players from whatever seat within the stadium. Plenty of places to eat & drink... More

Metricon stadium has the feel of a country stadium, meaning up close and personal around the playing field, with all the facilities of any modern stadium. The catering is SUPERB in members areas. Transport to and from is very well organised. Great time out with the family.

its a nice Stadium, within 5 mins bus ride from Nerang train station, Formally Carrara Stadium the home of the Gold Coast Suns AFL club (Aussie Rules) and the site of the opening of the 2018 Commonwealth Games. This stadium has the buses outside the gate as apposed to CBus Super Stadium at Robina where you have to walk 600m... More

Be wary of the complete lack of parking in the vicinity of the stadium. Private operators nearby will offer parking and a bus transfer, but there is very limited information on this and it is extremely inconvenient. And the AFL wonders why they are struggling to gain traction with some of these new franchises?

Modern small stadium only 5minute drive from Broadbeach , has great views of the playing surface and also allows areas where you can stand and watch the game , a huge plus in my book , also next door to the Carrara market if you wish to kill an hour or two before bounce down , only gripe would be...
