It's not Angkor Wat but very much worthy of a visit when in Kampong Cham. The new insert of a beautifully decorated temple into the ancient ruins will not delight every expert but it is stunning.

Wat Nokor has large grounds with temples, shrines, statues and other buildings in various states of decay or refurbishment. Inside the main building, they have restored the architecture to produce a beautiful temple that is currently in use. In other words, it's a modern pagoda...More

Wat Nokor is really cool. There are not many foreign visitors, and the locals still use the place. It is pretty quiet and peaceful. Just be aware that you do have to pay to go inside, which varies from person to person.

What should of been a pleasant relaxing stroll around the wat was spoiled by the police who've now set up shop there and are demanding an entrance fee. OK it's only a dollar but they got on my nerves so I gave them what for...More

Easy access from the main road, small and still in use by the villagers. Parking free as well entrance
