It's an old tower but still charming. If you are not afraid from the stairs you can enjoy a great view from the top. Just be careful.

from the other side of the bridge the tower looks stunning, however once you come close to it you see it is completely run down... a pity!

The perfect tower to watch the sunset. Its a little bit complicated to climb it bu it worth and for sure is better if you buy some beers in the stand just down the bridge. The tower is always open so you can go whenever...More

The tower is best seen from the National Road 7 bridge going westbound into town. It's a shame that it isn't maintained.

Shame that it hasn't been well restored! Stairs are a bit crazy the structure seems safe but I was more afraid of coming down lol maybe I'm just getting too old lol

Not well maintained, even dangerous to go up and down the steep iron stairs. Better enjoy the tower with a cold beer from the other side of the Mekong or go to the Olympic size swimming pool in town.

This tower looks good across the river but is rundown and sad from close up Stop and look if you are crossing the Mekong bridge otherwise dont bother

The old French lighthouse gives you good views over the riverside promenade on the other side of the river. Sunsets should be revarding, if you have good weather. Beware that the stairs/ladders up are very steep!
