During our stay in Puducherry we booked a few classes in Sita (Lonely Planet led us there) - and what to say, it was easily the best experience I had in my third trip to India. We even prolonged our stay in Puducherry to attend more courses! We learnt how to wear a Saree, how to do Kolam, Jimikki earrings,... More

We spent a great morning with Manisha learning a variety of dishes. First agree what to cook (veggie for us but there were many options). Second a visit to a fantastic market to buy the ingredients. Cook then eat the results. Great fun and we learned a lot.

This center is a single window to many activities. Cycle tour from 7-9 Am in morning is a great show. Our guide was nice enough to make our tour great. They showed different areas of Pondy and educated us with history associated with them. (P.S. They also provide breakfast after tour).

This class did not disappoint! The class lasts for about 3 -4 hrs and we learned 3 dishes and a dessert. Manisha took us down to the local wholesale market where we purchased all of our veggies for the lunch. My wife and I served as sous chefs preparing the dishes under her direction. She was very warm, friendly, approachable... More

My wife and I visited Pondicherry in December and in addition to the usual round of seeing the sites we participated in the bike tour guided by Manisha and got a good idea of the city and its history as well as South-Indian breakfast. The traffic was reasonable and we could manage well with the retro bikes. After the bike... More

We attended a 4 hour Indian Cooley course. We started with a trip to the market to learn about local ingredients and ended with a meal in the courtyard that we had prepared under the watchful eye of our excellent cookery teacher. We also had the recipes emailed to us. Highly recommend.
