About
This mountain represents a miracle of nature for many because of its dense forests, wide meadows and steep slopes. It is adorned with six glacial lakes. Bjelasica is one of the snowiest mountains in Europe and the ski center Kolasin 1450 has over 30 km of ski slopes. In summer, this is one of the favorite destinations for hiking and biking.

This mountain is perfect for kids and elderly or not so fit people to hike easy trails yet see beautiful views. There are lakes too and katuns in the area. Plus mountain huts. We started from Vranjak mountain hut (it's lovely place) and hiked to Crna Glava peak and then onwards to Biogradska Lake.

We drove most of the way, and did some short hikes but there is possibility of hiking along the way. It is beautiful! There is a new ski lift coming soon!

Had a wonderful week here with the family. Kids 5 and 7 y.o. learned to ski with the very best instructors Ksenija and Ivan. Gastro experience in the Etno selo Bijeli potok unforgettable. Looking forward to come back here!

Basically you see half of Montenegro. Possibility to get there with comfortable chairlift. Recommended for those who want to enjoy idyllic scenery and fresh air.
