El Parque Central is located in the heart of Juayua right in front of the Cathedral. You will find many stands for you to buy trinkets and little hand made ornaments. Also there are many vendors offering local food and drinks. The park can be a little dirty at times mostly due to careless visitors, but other than that it... More

We wandered through here while we were in Juayua and it was a nice little park. Is is situated right next to a beautiful church.

A pretty typical and pleasant El Salvadoran town square. I didn't visit on a weekend during the weekly food festival, but it's fairly busy even during the week. Plenty of shade and vendors selling the usual assortment of trinkets. Church and covered market behind the church are at one end of the square ... both worth visiting.

This is not a site so to speak. You can walk through it in less than a minute. It is in the town centre so you cannot miss it but there really is nothing to see and there should be given that it is the ruta de las flores.

The Parque Central is especially busy during the weekends when they have a food-fair. Great food is served from the food-stalls.

Lovely square - a great stop on the Ruta de las Flores. Go on a Sunday when the food market is underway for a great range of plates for $5.

Juayua is a pretty small place so this is where all the action happens especially at the weekend when the food fair is happening. It's a nice relaxing spot.

Come and have a one-hour ride on the "Conga Bus" and enjoy the funny parodia show while riding with some hilarious artists like "Cantinflas".

This is the daily meeting place in Juayua that shows you the real Salvadorean culture outside of the city life in San Salvador. On Friday and Saturday I was able buy souvenirs, enjoy a gastronomic fair, and listen to locals sing karaoke in a peaceful and safe environment. The Town Church (El Templo) is just steps away and I was... More
