I love this area because there is a cute villa with lots of shops and restaurants, everything in walking distance, the great Save the turtles project called TAMAR and some of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. Few waves so great for kids.

The beach side town of Praia de Forte is great for a day trip from Salvador but even better to stay for 3-4 nights. The stretch of beach is small but town is charming and the region offers good treks as well. Lots of great...More
Very beautiful little town, beach and surrounding. Worth a visit. Tamar project also quite interesting and from there we could picture wales on the ocean. Only downside is that quite some shops were closed at 18h. And it was a saturday!
