Just such a lovely setting for an amazing Honey Cake .... and excellent jar of honey to take home from Sarah's bees. It isn't open all the time - that's what makes it such a special treat - check the facebook page and make sure you ask to go on Sarah's email list when you visit! A lovely welcome from... More

The Honey House is quite unique. Not a huge place but nice to drop in for a tea and bun while out on a circular walk around that area. It has some interesting villages around there. The shop has a biggish selection of Jams but only a few of the Honey. But they sell some interesting bee pollen skin care... More

We came across this tiny tea garden because we were lost! We had tea and wonderful home made cakes and scones in a beautiful peaceful garden setting. There was an incredible choice of jams and home grown fruit and eggs for sale. Well worth a visit. ( Apparently times of opening are put on the Honey House facebook page)

We have been several times before, and made a special journey to The Honey House. I'd called before we set off, but the answering machine message was out of date and referred to the previous month's opening hours. It was closed when we got there (sunny Saturday afternoon in June) and it appears to be open on very random sporadic... More

We once again completed the beautiful Leathly circular walk, stopping off at the fabulously situated Honey House to recharge with delicious homemade sandwiches, cakes, scones and freshly made coffee. There is always a lovely friendly, welcoming atmosphere, like popping into a friend's house, where all the 'visitors' just chat together whether walkers, cyclists or visiting by car. They also have... More

Great place to get away from it all and sample some great home cooked food. We had delicious scones and lemon tart! Watched the chickens scratching around outside the conservatory and kept our eyes out for the Red Kites circling above.

Lovely weekend visit to the Honey House tea rooms this Easter. Nestled in a picture perfect spot of Yorkshire countryside, it was so lovely to have a cup of tea and some scrummy cake and breathe in Spring! Chickens were happily ambling around the pretty daffodils and the bees busy at work. A fantastic array of jams, pickles and of... More

Passed the sign many times so decided to give it a look one sunny afternoon. Took a while to find as hidden down tiny roads. The country location is delightful with chickens wandering about. The owners were pleasant. We had an ice cream which was just ok, nothing special. Unsure about hygiene standards but they must have passed some inspection... More

Although not open every weekend we try to call in whenever the open board is out and the sun is shining. Sitting outside in lovely countryside with chickens wandering about is blissful. The tea and cakes are great and there are lots of honey related gifts to buy.

We had a lovely afternoon tea in the most relaxed gorgeous surroundings! Friendly staff, relaxed feel in a peaceful country setting and loved the chickens! Would recommend as a brilliant place. Appears to open bank holidays so not open all the time but we will be back... For more hot honey cake!! Thank you
