This snow world, shops and other attractions in First World Plaza is currently closed for renovations. When I arrived, I was disappointed that whole of First World Plaza is closed down. I think most probably the renovations will be completed by next year. I hope there will be more good facilities as well.

Only good if you want to experience freezing cold (~minus 6). otherwise there is nothing much. area inside is very small. Worst thing that you can not carry your phone/camera with you. there are many photographers inside who clicks your pics and they they charge heavy. they provide jackets which are also not that clean but as this is the only good place in Genting after cable car, you can try this.

The snow in there doesn’t even look as close as the real snow. Instant snow are even better compare to the fake snow there. Very slippery and there’s not much attraction. I hope the make improvement like providing shops in there. At least sell some hot chocolates or snacks as a way to pass time.

One slide. And that is all you can do there.
No snow to make snow balls out of.
No sledges.
In short , No Fun
Some of the winter jackets provided have lost their buttons/ velcro strips and the authorities have not taken any care to replace them.
Waste of money, and time and a terrible downer.

Kids insisted on visiting Snow World although poor mummy is wearing short skirt.
The provided attire are decent and offers protection from the cold well. Everyone managed to get a set of clean attire (jackets, shoes etc)
There are photographers inside there to take and sell you expensive photographs. (No personal cameras allowed in though). The photographers are quite insistent and can be irritating as they 'ordered' you to various areas to take photographs.
Not much to do there except to go into some of the huts. You can go down the slide, but you have to pull up your own tubes which can be very tiring after a few rounds. At least the exercise kept me warm. Most of the people in my group left after less than 30 mins because it was too cold and there was not much things to do there anyway.
Not likely to return anytime.

Its located at level 2a of first world plaza. The entrance fees are rm30 for adult and rm25 for kids. If you are travelling with
2a + 2c than u r advise to purchase their family package. But if you have the genting rewards card where you can apply foc than you may get an even xgeaper price for rm27 per adult n rm22 for child. The jacket, gloves and boots is provided foc here. To avoid the slippery floor or snow surface, you can either put on the foc boots provided or you can just wear on ur running shoes. Please note its extremely cold in here where the temperature is between -10 to -4 degree C. So pls look after your kids if they r too young. Camera and mobile phone r not allow to bring in as the company wants to make profit by capturing your moment pics and sell it to you during your exit. But a smart guy like us are always have a way to deal with it. Lol u know i know. Local is provided foc in the changing room where u can put in all your hand bags, shoes or back pack.
